One shop.
So many stories.

Since 2017, MIRO has grown with the people who shop here, lend a hand and find a little piece of home.

Familiar products.
Open doors.

Gabriele Mairon-Seifert and the Mehee family build MIRO together. International groceries bring familiar flavours to Fürth and spark curiosity about something new.

Community has been part of MIRO from the start: conversations, help with translation and opportunities for young people to experience working life. A shopping trip often becomes a chance to connect.

2017

The doors open.

After three months of preparation, MIRO opens its first shop. The idea grows from conversations with people in Fürth and the surrounding area: a place for familiar groceries, new discoveries and personal encounters.

2021

A new place. The same community.

The move and renovation define 2020 and 2021. Many helping hands, work on the interior and the arrival of refrigeration equipment make the fresh start possible. In December 2021, MIRO reopens at its new location.

Shopping and parcel collection.

GLS and DPD become part of the market. Since then, you can combine parcel collection and shopping in one place. Our parcel shop page provides collection hours and links to both carriers’ shop finders.

2024

A market that keeps growing.

The team continues to develop the market through its own work: a veranda, an updated entrance and additional space make room for the range. The market grows with the people who shape it every day.

Ramadan food aid.
From MIRO to Syria.

Every Ramadan, MIRO buys food and distributes it to orphaned children and older people in Syria. Together, we want to help where support is needed in everyday life.

Would you like to help? Please write to us. We will explain personally how you can support our food aid.
